Camdig Nikon - Harga Kamera DSLR Nikon D5300 yang pada hari ini 17 Oktober 2013 diumumkan sebagai kamera generasi penerus D5200 ditawarkan dengan harga yang tidak begitu jauh dari para pendahulunya. Pada bulan yang sama namun lebih cepat Nikon juga telah mengumumkan seri terbrunya yaitu Nikon D610. Sebagai kamera generasi penerus tentunya D5300 memiliki keunggulan dan peningkatan dalam berbagai hal yang pastinya akan lebih baik dari generasi sebelumnya. Apalagi kamera Nikon D5300 ini diumumkan tidak lebih dari setahun sejak D5200 direleasi. Menurut pabrikan kamera ternama ini dalam seri terbarunya Nikon hanya mengalami perbaikan dan peningkatan kecil-kecilan, namun dengan penambahan WiFi dan GPS yang terintegrasi langsung di dalam sebuah kamera saja sudah membuatnya sebagai kamera DSLR pertama yang mengusung teknologi tersebut.

Kamera canggih ini memang diperuntukkan bagi pemula atau entry-level, dan mengambil target pengguna di antara kamera D3200 dan D7100 pada lineup APS-C. D5300 menawarkan kamera dengan resolusi 24 megapixel yang setara dengan kamera di kelasnya, dengan LCD berada dibelakang seperti bisa namun lebih jernih dengan lebar 3,2 inch dan bisa di artikulasikan. Baik secara visual maupun ergonomis kamera D5300 ini merupakan kloning terdekat dari pendahulunya namun dengan body kamera yang lebih kokoh. Sensor 24 megapixel D5300 tidak memiliki filter Anti-Aliasing atau filter AA, yang mana filter ini berfungsi untuk mengurangi efek moire. Namun dengan semakin berkembangnya resolusi dengan kepadatan yang semakin tinggi efek moire bisa di abaikan, dan dengan hilangnya filter tersebut Nikon berharap ketajaman gambar yang dihasilkan akan lebih maksimal.

Nikon D5300 selain menawarkan hasil gambar yang tajam juga memberikan tawaran yang lebih menarik yaitu modus video yang ditingkatkan hingga mampu merekam video dengan resolusi full HD 1080/60p. Hal ini akan lebih menarik dengan LCD dengan lebar 3.2 inch lebih besar dari sebelumnya dengan 1,04 juta dot, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa D5300 sangat menarik bagi videografer dan stills fotografer. Hal yang lebih menarik lagi adalah daya tahan baterai yang lebih lama. Menurut angka yang dikeluarkan CIPA Nikon D5300 menawarkan daya tahan baterai hingga 600 tembakan hal ini berarti lebih tahan lama jika dibandingkan dengan D5200 yang hanya 500 tembakan saja (tanpa menggunakan fitur WiFi dan GPS).
